Any chance Fiery has compiled the basic drivers for a XP12 RIP for Docucolor 12. both 32 and 64 bit for Windows 7, seeing as Adobe did not release a tool for converting ppd's to the Windows 7 format for end users only manufacturers. We still have this as a backup device to our new printers but only have XP drivers for the Doc 12. For our Doc240 we've been able to use the Doc242 drivers.

I've done countless installs with EXP250's over the phone with the customer. The disc you need to boot from is the System Software 1.1 The BIOS on this machine is VERY locked down, almost 0 changeable options, its not designed to be played with. Its possible one of your discs is damaged. I'd try booting it in another DVD drive on another desktop.
