The new driver corrected the problem and regained touchpad abilty, but the new installed driver didn't have any of the same gesture commards like using two fingers to scroll up and down or maximizes and minimizing with the use of two fingers on touchpad. Does anyone have link to download new synaptics clickpad with the same functionality?
